As a charity the DSWC relies heavily on volunteers, and are currently looking for people to get involved in all sorts of ways. We have a policy of using volunteers to deliver what we call "added value." The principal is simple, whilst we will always use professionally qualified staff to deliver our core sessions we feel that the additional input of volunteers will improve the service we can deliver at no additional cost to the end users. A great example of "added value," would be an additional Assitant Instructor on a Youth Session over and above the NGB ratios required.

Our Youth and Freedom Programs cost £33,000 to run in 2007.
