Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre in association with East London Business Alliance (ELBA) is able to offer a wide range of volunteering opportunities for both corporate clients and individuals.
As the Centre is a registered charity it relies on the enthusiasm and commitment of local communities to assist, in a number of different ways, in delivering a high quality service to all its customers. This can vary from volunteering on the BBQ on a WednesdayTwilight evening, helping out with office admin to assistance in refurbishments works on site or boat cleaning.
Over the past year the Centre has organised a number of volunteering events for clients including Barclays Bank, Barclays SBT, Marsh Ltd, Credit Suisse and others. The Centre also hosted the 2003 Volunteers Week event on behalf of ELBA and Volunteers Action Tower Hamlets with over 30 volunteers.

All volunteer events are organised and co-ordinated by the Centre. The Centre will source all the materials and equipment in order to complete the challenges. All we ask is that your company can cover the basic costs of the volunteer day including materials and equipment.
Every event has at least one member of staff to set the challenge, offer advice and suggestions and ensure that all work is carried out in a safe environment. We carry out a risk assessment of each and every challenge and give a health and safety talk to all participants.
At the end of the day, to show our gratitude, we try to ensure that we can show you what we do best and get your team out on the water to try a bit of sailing, rowing or dragon boating.
