Open Sessions run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the summer, we are also open on the weekend all year round. Use of Open Sessions out of scheduled times may sometimes be available on request. All exceptions to these timings are listed under exclusive events, and in the centre programme.
When taking part in Open Sessions you must sign in at the reception, and have filled out a record card, which can be obtained from behind reception.
Open Sessions are open to all members and day users that have reached a specified level of competency. Youth members are also invited to attend Open Sessions if they have signed approval from both their parents and waterside staff.
The activities that can be undertaken during open sessions are Sailing, Windsurfing, Kayaking, Dragon Boating and Rowing.
Participants are asked to read the Open Session Rules before taking part.

The Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre is run as a Social Enterprise with limited external funding.
We are supported by Fundraising, Individual Volunteers, and Corporate Volunteering Projects.
Our Youth and Freedom Programs cost £33,000 to run in 2007.
