To provide a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in power boats.
The course may be conducted in a variety of boats, both planing and displacement (by arrangement) and the certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place. The course takes one day.

Includes an RYA logbook, all tuition, use of equipment including safety equipment (personal buoyancy) course notes and handouts and membership to the DSWC, for the duration of the course.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership of DSWC entitles members to reduced course
fees as well as free usage of Centre craft (as appropriate to members skill
and prevailing weather conditions). Membership detail is available on the net
and in the Centre foyer.
