Frostbite- Cold, Calm and Competitive!!!

As the morning “sunshine” broke over London and the cold abated somewhat the keen sailing fraternity of London emerged for the second day of Docklands Frostbite series. With Rich doing a sterling job as race officer/race training we saw 12 boats on the water and managed to get 4 very competitive races in. It is still tight at the top with three boats separated by only 8 points.

Take look at the Week 2 Results!

All are welcome to join in this open event for both Adults and Youth. Last year we had a record 45 entries. Lets see if we can top that number!!

The regatta dates are Sundays:
15th January, 29th January, 12th February, 26th February
(Prize giving will follow the racing on Sunday 26th Feb)

Spaces are limited, so please submit your entries by email as soon as possible. Entry fees £15 per person for non members and £10 per person for members for the duration of the series.

There will be race training in the mornings from 10am to 1pm, followed by racing in the afternoon. As before, we will be sailing in Bosuns, although Feva/Topper fleets for youth sailors (up to 16 years) may be included if we receive a high number of entries. If you don’t have a partner to sail with, please let us know, as there are often willing helms and crews to pair up with.

We strongly encourage sailors to stay with their partners for the duration of the series, although helms and crews may switch around.

Please complete the online entry form below or alternatively download the PDF version which can be returned by fax, post or email (kirsty@dswc.org)

Entries will not be confirmed until payment has been received. This can be done by card over the telephone, or by dropping in to the Centre weekdays or on Sunday.

Boats will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please refer to the Notice of Race for further information.

Complete either the Online Entry Form or alternatively download the Offline PDF Version which can be faxed or posted back.
