River Trips are run in an afternoon for 2 hours either side of high tide. The session launches and recovers from the slipway across the road, it is therefore recommended that students wear sensible footwear as the ground can be quite uneven.
Participants are expected to arrive at the centre in plenty of time so that they have their boats rigged and ready to go for the briefing 30 minutes before the scheduled launch time. If you are not ready to go on time, the centre reserves the right to leave you behind as the tidal window is very tight.

Membership of DSWC entitles members to reduced course fees as well as free
use of Centre craft (as appropriate to members skill and prevailing weather
