RYA Sea Survival Course

This one day course prepares you to stay alive in an emergency. It will show you how to make the best use of a liferaft and you will learn some basic survival techniques.

This one-day course will include.
Preparation for survival
lifejackets
search and rescue
a two-hour session in a swimming pool with a liferaft.

After the course you will have a good knowledge of survival techniques, the safety equipment carried on small boats and will have spent valuable time doing practical drills in a liferaft.

DSWC is pleased to offer this one day course to water sports enthusiasts. The course lasts for one day (or two evenings). It begins at 9.30am and ends at roughly 5.30pm for the full day or from 7:00 pm to 10:00pm for the evening courses.

Membership of DSWC entitles members to reduced course fees as well as free usage of Centre craft (as appropriate to members skill and prevailing weather conditions). Membership detail is available on the net and in the Centre foyer.
