On a hot sun-filled day, with moderate winds of 5-8 knots (gusting up to 10-12 knots) 22 young sailors took to Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre to compete in the coveted Topper South East Open Series round 4. With thirteen different club/centres being represented from the south east, an array of talented sailors was on display for all to see. Pretty paddlers Sea Horse wins the 2017 DSWC Charity Dragon Boat Challenge Despite early threat of rain, storm and gale-force winds, the weather Gods smiled and finally gave us perfect weather with blue skies and mild evening for the annual DSWC Dragon Boat Challenge to proceed unhindered. Fifteen teams took part in this year’s fundraiser event on Friday 18th August and raised over £5,000 for the DSWC Youth Programme.
