The DSWC Dragon Boat Fundraiser is here again this summer! Perfect for corporate team-builiding or just a day out with your friends or club, this event promises fun, laughter and an exciting dragon boat race challenge.
Our barbecue sizzles all evening to keep you sustained and the boat bar will be serving drinks all evening. There will also be exciting raffle prizes to win for participants and guests. After the dragon boat race, our bar will be open till late with our DJ playing your favourite dance tunes .
But what’s a dragon boat race without a fancy dress competition. Come as anything you like, but make sure it’s colourful and exciting! Cameras will be clicking away, so make sure you look your best. Make this event your fundraiser event of the year, and help us raise funds for our Youth Programme, offering sailing, kayaking and windsurfing to children and young people in London.
Whether you’re new to dragon boating racing or a veteran, we have dragon boat training sessions for teams for £70 per boat per hour.
There will also be prizes for:
Champion Dragon Boat Team (amateur category) – fastest team not belonging to a Dragon Boat club.
Champion Dragon Boat Team (club category) – Dragon Boat Club best team.
Best Fundraising Team – the team to raise most funds for DSWC Youth Programme wins the “Fundraiser of the Year” prize.
Best Dressed Team – the team with best, most creative costume, wins the “Best Dressed Team” prize.
