We are trying to ensure that is space for everyone on the youth clubs this year. We are only able to accommodate 6 people on each activity session so there are a few things to realise about booking a space:

The minimum age for any instructed activities is 8 years old.
You must be logged in to book.
You can only have one future booking at a time, once you have attended you can then book your next.
You can cancel your booking until 3 days before via your account page, if you can’t attend then please do cancel as it will open up the space to another child.

Please note: Spaces are extremely limited and in high demand, if you book please ensure you attend otherwise it takes away an opportunity from another young person.
No-shows will result in membership being temporarily blocked and repeated non-attendance may result in cancellation of membership.

Dinghy Sailing
Sailing is an excellent youth sport, being good for general fitness, highly skilful and great fun! We have a range of youth boats available, to suit all age groups, ideal for young people to learn the basics of the sport right through to the more advanced single and double handed boats. The youth club sailing sessions are suitable for all levels of ability ranging from total beginners to keen racers.

Kayaking and Canoeing – Unavalable until 2024
Kayaking is the most physically demanding sport we do at the centre. Kayaking is also one of the wettest sports we do, as capsize practises are a vital part of the tuition we deliver. Our British Canoeing qualified instructors will have you playing games and having a great time out on the dock. We aim to develop our youth kayaking this season with the goal of running some off-site trips during the season to some moving water sites.

Windsurfing
Youth windsurfing has now been established at the centre as a firm favourite with the youth members. The sessions are great fun, beginning with basic balancing exercises and quickly progressing to sailing techniques. Youth windsurfing has been fast developing at the centre and we are pleased to see this sport enjoying such a revival.
